This summer I worked with Assistant Professor Lydia Tapia at University of New Mexico in Alburquerque, New Mexico. The project is a three year project to investigate the role of protein motion in determining binding affinities between peptide, MHC, and TCR molecules. This information will be used to understand the specificity of immune responses which can then be used in vaccine research.


The following sites were helpful in developing my DREU website;

  • w3schools is an excellent site for looking up html code
  • XHTML 1.1 was used to check the HTML code. Some errors found were not corrected as they were intentional, and some corrections had undesired results.
  • CSS code used was not altered from that provided from the template.
  • design by dcarter provided the template used to build this site.
