HOME ABOUT ME MENTOR PROJECT JOURNAL REPORT

Working on project that involves using haptic fabrics to communicate directions to an user. By using vibration devices placed strategically within a shirt, we would like to design a program that guides people from a GPS system on an Android phone. We will code an application that will be able to communicate from an Android phone, to a small micro-controller in the fabric that will control the vibrations. Currently, we have a semi-functioning prototype of the navigational harness. To find out more about the research read weekly blog updates. Pictures will be posted soon!
