Computing Research Advocacy Network (CRAN)

CRA invites the computing research community to join us in a vigorous advocacy campaign on behalf of our field and its contributions to the national interest  —  Get Action Alerts delivered right to your e-mail so you don't miss important opportunities to speak out on behalf of computing research!

To facilitate advocacy by the members of the computing research community and leverage its impact, CRA has established the Computing Research Advocacy Network, an electronic mailing list that delivers timely information about key advocacy opportunities. Participants can expect to receive about 7 to 10 e-mail Action Alerts per year. Each Alert includes summary and background information, recommended actions, talking points, and contact information — everything you need to make your voice heard in Washington.

CRAN is not a discussion list — only CRA Government Affairs staff will use the mailing list and only for the purposes described on this page. Please feel free to call on CRA for any additional information you might need to become an effective advocate for computing research. Please direct any requests, questions, comments, and ideas to Jeffrey Vitter (Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor, The University of Kansas, Co-Chair of CRA Government Affairs Committee).
