I'm a senior in Computer Science at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, my hometown. I'm 20 years old and I'm turning 21 in October. I'm graduating with a BS in May 2004 and with an MS in Dec 2005. I'm a participant in the Accelerated Master's Program here at State, which allows you to double count up to 12 hours of graduate credit for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. This is especially helpful at State because so many of the senior level courses are exactly the same as graduate level equivalents.

I'm interested in Web Development, Graphics, and now, Software Engineering. I didn't enjoy Software Engineering when I was initially taking it because there was this horrible vending machine project. However, I loved the final project of creating a course feedback website so the next semester I worked on it with Walter Heckman as independent research. Dr. Williams was our advisor. She is the one who told me about the DMP program and, suggested that I should apply and request to work with her.
