CRA-W’s commitment to supporting students entering CSE fields is addressed through the CRA-W Website, which has since its inception been created and maintained by students. Supervised by CRA-W committee members, the students learn about Web design, database management, programming, and CRA-W programs, in addition to coming into contact with leading female researchers nationwide. The Website is an invaluable tool for program dissemination, especially as CRA-W programs gain greater visibility. The student Webmaster works from the San Diego Supercomputer Center, where the Website is supported.
