Project: Filling the Pipeline: An Examination of Factors Influencing High School Girls' Attitudes Towards Computer Science Student Researchers: Ann Guszkowski, Devon Skyllingstad, Stacey Fowee Advisor: Elizabeth Johnson Institution: Xavier University In this project, we will to survey high school students about attitudes toward computer science in order to determine the factors that influence whether girls consider a computer science major in college. We will use the survey results to plan a set of activities to be used in high school outreach programs by undergraduate computer science programs.
